Chapter 36 Raindrops Confession
- Slowly, the raindrops poured, breaking the silence between them. Eduardo’s rage was unspoken, his mouth twisted in a snarl, his eyes darkened like a thunderbolt. Why did she ever think that? He took a step closer, his eyes fixed on Tessa. She pulled back with every step closer until she was pinned to the wall; reality seemed to dawn on her actions.
- He grasped her by the shoulders and gazed at her softly. “I have nothing to do with her.”
- Tessa shook her head. “I don’t believe you,” she said as she fought to free herself from his grasp.
