• Tessa’s POV:
• I woke up to the early morning sunlight rays streaming through the open window. I raised my head from the side of the bed where I lay beside Lucian, who was still sleeping, observing his bandaged lower abdomen.
• Boyd and Felix had fortunately found us last night in the woods. Apparently as a result of failing to keep watch over me, Lucian had punished them, but Olivia had given them the opportunity to reduce their punishment by coming to find us.
