• Derrick's POV
• I watched as Hermione shivered in her seat. The doctor was still looking at the strip on the table, and I was praying that the test result would come out negative because truthfully, I would rather not have a family with Hermione yet, and I wasn't even mentally in a place where I could do that.
• It's been months since I rejected my mate, but I was still struggling to heal from the pain of Pandora's acceptance of the rejection and the fact that she now had a mate who was treating her better than I could ever have.
