Chapter 13 Sensual Dream

• GIULLIA SANTORI’S POV
• After returning to college, several days passed, and there was no news from Vittorio. I was more apprehensive this time because of what happened during our last night together. He had been quite shaken, and even though I understood it as a form of care, I also wanted him to have confidence in my choices. In truth, I concluded that I didn't know him well enough. I didn't know what to expect from him when, in one moment, he would call me, requesting my presence, and, in another moment, he would disappear suddenly. Plus, I knew nothing about him except that he was a mafia leader controlling the Milan region.
• During class, I was restless; I must confess that I hardly paid attention to the teacher's explanations. I looked at the door multiple times and then at the wall clock above the whiteboard. I'm anxious for it to end soon to find out what's going on with Vittorio's friends. I'm worried, thinking about what might be happening in his mind.
