A beautiful woman with a perfectly coiffed bob looked up from the food she had been stirring. “Sweetheart” she said as she stretched her hands towards Daniel and he came forward to give her a hug. The sense of calm that always settled on him when he was with his family wrapped around him like a warm embrace.
