Chapter 58

• I woke up to knocking on the front door. After removing Darren's death trap arm from around my waist as carefully as possible to not wake him up, I went and opened the door to find his mum standing there.
• "I didn't know if you would be up to cooking breakfast or seeing people, so I dished up some of our breakfast for you guys to eat here."
• I took the plate and invited her in so we wouldn't need to stand there talking at the door.
