- Before I can even think, I grab my phone and snap a picture. The soft shutter sound feels louder than it is, but my focus is razor-sharp.
- “What are you doing?” Meera hisses, swatting my arm with just enough force to bring me back to the present without causing a scene. Her eyes dart around nervously. “You can’t do that!”
