• “What the fuck?” I exclaimed, my heart racing. His sudden appearance had my pulse throbbing in my ears.
• “We can try it out in my car. That used to be our favorite spot, you know,” he said, his voice low and smooth. He leaned in closer, his eyes dancing with amusement, making my face flush red with both embarrassment and a hint of something else.
