• I won't let him ruin me for this. I need to show why I was chosen for this. I'm here because I deserve to be, and I won't let some little motherfucker ruin it for me.
• I'm not sure if I should call Kent for help or just to let him know, but I know it will upset him, and he'll be on a flight out here in a few hours. I won't tell him right now because I'm too upset about it.
• I put my phone back in my purse and leave the bathroom. I might go outside to get some fresh air and then at least text him. He always makes me feel better when I text him.
