• As we attempted to infuse Avalynn's blood with Adler's, we continued on our journey to return. Fortunately, Adler's body began to show signs of improvement thereafter. His body began to heal itself, the process starting off sluggish before picking up momentum nearly five hours later. His skin reverted to its natural hue. A sense of relief washed over us as we finally found ourselves able to relax.
• We frantically attempted to establish contact with the Alpha, urgently conveying our message that we were on our route back to our abode. As we brace ourselves for the aftermath, it's a relief that we managed to avoid the worst-case scenario of losing both of them and coming out of the battle empty-handed.
