Chapter 44

• ***THE NEXT MORNING***
• Miranda hands wandered to the hard rocky flesh on the bed beside her. All through the night, she remembered how she couldn't get enough of that flesh inside of her, as she opened her eyes, something caught her attention that made her jump then. Along his chest ran huge scars she'd never seen on any man before, she didn't notice the scars last night in the darkness, but now they were clearly visible, and now, her heart felt nothing but pity for Damian as she wondered what could have caused those scars on his chest like that. She ran her hands along his chest for the second time, but this time, he woke up.
• His eyes lit up suddenly as he threw his hands off her, "What are you doing?" He snarled. "How dare you touch me like that?"
