• Lucien POV
• The whole of me felt stiff, I can’t feel my heart beating, or myself moving. It felt as if I was glued permanently to a spot. I remember vividly what led to this, I was trying to kill her, I couldn’t contain the hate any longer so I brought out my claws to finish her off permanently and find another soul to sacrifice and free Ghatos, but before I could do that I already felt stiff and not alive. I need to break through whatever is it she did that’s keeping me here or keeping me this stiff or paused, but is it really possible my mate did this to me; I thought she was just a mere human, what kind of a creature is she then.
• Not long, things started falling off my body, and finally I felt free and able to move again. I was back to my normal form, the horns, claws and everything from my monstrous form is all gone and back to normal. I glance at what broke off my body, I was met with broken ice like fish scales on the floor.
