• Danielle wasn’t sure what was more terrifying—the idea of facing her old social circles again or the dress Aria had just zipped her into.
• “Do I really have to go?” she asked for the fifth time, tugging at the hem of the midnight blue gown. It fit her like a second skin, hugging her curves before flaring slightly at her ankles. It was elegant. Understated. Definitely expensive.
• Aria arched a brow from where she lounged on the edge of the bed, one stiletto dangling from her fingers. “You're living under Alexander Sterling's roof. You’re caring for his son. You think not showing up at the Sterling Foundation’s charity gala tonight won't raise eyebrows?”
