Chapter 7

  • CHAPTER 7.
  • "This better be good, motherfucker." Morris's grunt filled my goddamn ear as I phoned the bastard.
  • "I need you to clean up." I groaned.
  • "No, shit. Clean up your own goddamn mess."
  • I stared at Lani. The girl was seated so far away from me, in fact, from the terror in her eyes, I'd say she'd prefer another fucking place than here with me.
  • "Can't. I ain't done my own clean up in years, I ain't gonna start now."
  • "I see I've spoilt your motherfucking ink ass but I really mean it when I say I ain't gonna clean up today."
  • "Why?" I couldn't keep the frustration from my voice.
  • "I'm balls deep into a bitch right now." Came the grunted confession.
  • I snorted. "Bitch must taste like ash if you can fucking keep up the conversation while nailing her."
  • "You ain't wrong. Whores in this goddamn town tastes like saggy milfs."
  • I stared at Lani again, and my fucking cock jerked upright. I'd bet my skull she's gonna taste like a twelve course meal.
  • Gotta find out real soon too.
  • "Stick it back into your pants and get out here, Morris."
  • "You're a cocksucker if you think I'm coming out to clean up your mess without cumming."
  • "I offed Scorpion."
  • "Holy sonofabitch! You killed which Scorpion!? Please say it's not fucking Felaray's godforsaken Scorpion."
  • "It's him."
  • "Gold-ass-bitch!! What the hell happened!?"
  • "Bastard tried to touch what's mine. Get your hairy balls here and clean it up, I'll tell you the few I know later. I've got things to do."
  • "Where's here, you sonofabitch?"
  • "LANI'S BEST WISHES. Come here in five."
  • "Hey! You...."
  • I hung up, cutting off his tirades. I turned to Lani and walked to her. She shrank back from me.
  • Doesn't matter. I walked closer to her and took a close look on her. She's got blood on her hair, a little on her nose and the sight fucking pissed me off.
  • She shouldn't have anything of that motherfucker on her pure body. If she's gonna look tainted, it's gonna be from me.
  • "Get up, we're going out." I stated. She needs to clean up and she needs to explain why that asshole Scorpion had come calling.
  • She shrank away, her eyes wide like saucers. "I-I'm not going anywhere with you."
  • I snorted. "You're going out of here with me if I have to tie you up and throw you over my shoulders. I'd bet you don't fucking want that."
  • The blood drained from her face and she shook her head.
  • "Good girl." I held her hand, ignoring her protests and dragged her out of the door.
  • "I can't l-leave my store open that way!"
  • "That motherfucker Morris will clean up and lock up for you."
  • I ignored every other protests from her mouth and dragged her to my car, I forced her inside and round around to get to the driver's side.
  • Even seated side by side, she shrank away from me, and stared at me like I'd grown balls in between my eyes.
  • "W-Where are you taking me?"
  • She's right, where the hell am I taking her? The answer came almost immediately.
  • "I've got a place just outside town. We're going there."
  • She paled like a ghost. "I'm not going to your place! Let me out of this car, right now!" She shouted, turned to her side of the door and started hitting the window fanatically.
  • "Heeeeeeelp! Somebody heeeeelp!" She started screaming at the top of her voice.
  • She's scared shitless.
  • I tried reassuring her, "I'm not gonna hurt you." At least not yet.
  • I'm gonna hurt her but it wouldn't be now. I never said fucking anything about being a good motherfucker anyway.
  • She shook her head and tears welled up in those baby blue eyes filled with such innocence. "I just want to go home."
  • Now, she's talking. "That's exactly where we're going. Home."
  • "I want my own home!"
  • "No will do." I started the car and drove out. She kept screaming and rattling the door handle of the car.
  • I really don't have time for this. I glared at her and she clamped her mouth shut, her hands stilling. Fear radiating from her in waves. It's better that way. It will make her more pliant.
  • The most important now is to clean her up and find out how the hell she tangled with Scorpion and if Felaray has taken interest in her.
  • LEILANI
  • He killed someone.
  • He killed a man in cold blood.
  • I know the man meant to cause me harm. The mean man might have even come to kill me for what he thought I overhead, but that isn't the point.
  • I stared at the man beside me.
  • Zero didn't lie when he said he killed people. He had killed that man so effortlessly and with such enjoyment, like he was eating pizza.
  • He is so dangerous and I'm scared to death of him.
  • And yet, as he coaxed me to the big house that's his, I still have that weird feeling of safety. It's as if some part of me knows that he wouldn't kill me.
  • As for hurting me? I'm not a betting person and even if I was, I won't bet on that.
  • There's this intense look on his face whenever he looks at me, as if I'm dinner he's still savoring before he devours.
  • I feel like I'll crawl out of my own skin because of the mean man's blood on my body.
  • I want to clean up so much, but there's no way I'll be able to do so when Zero is five miles close to—
  • I jolted out of my thought when it dawned on me that he's taking me to the bathroom part of the big house.
  • I was still working up the courage to ask him what he's doing when he coaxed me to the bathroom and locked the door.
  • "W-What do you think you're doing, Mr. Zero?" I shrieked.
  • He arched a brow in a way that says it should be obvious what he's doing.
  • He crossed his arm and said just one word that scared the very devil out of me.
  • "Strip, Lani." He ordered.
