Chapter 35: Apology

• Adrian's POV 
• I thought about it. Thought and thought.. And finally decided to ask for forgiveness. Yes, I wanted her to hate me, be afraid of me. But now when I look back at her behaviour towards me, even if it's exactly what I wanted, it just makes my heart ache in distress. It doesn't feel good, rather the guilt is killing me. Even if she hates me, I will try my best to make her feel comfortable here. I know, this apology will be so irresponsible and irrelevant. But that's all I could do, right? 
• I went to her room, after two hours, when I was sure that her parents must have left and she would be in her room.
