Chapter 39 I Need Me

• Few months passed, and I was still here inside my room. Ever since Christian left this place, he hasn't come back yet. Workers here gave me food thrice a day, and that was it. They didn't even initiate to let me out at least once a week. I felt too exhausted by just staying here without anything to do aside from watching those people in white clothes passing by my room. Every time I saw them, they looked hurry. Going there, and here. These people might have something urgent to do every day. Well, thanks to this transparent glass on one side of this room. It somehow gave me a bit of fun here.
• I got up from the bed and brushed my hair with my bare fingers. I yawned. I felt tired even though I didn't do anything throughout these days.
• With my eyes half-opened, my legs were weak as I went near the waters at my right. The splatting sound of these waterfalls gave the waters underneath a more crystal clear appearance. I kneeled and looked at my reflection. At first glance, my face blurred. But in a blink of an eye, the tiny water waves suddenly moved away from my glare. It gave me a more lucid view of my look.
