Chapter 39 I Need Me

  • Few months passed, and I was still here inside my room. Ever since Christian left this place, he hasn't come back yet. Workers here gave me food thrice a day, and that was it. They didn't even initiate to let me out at least once a week. I felt too exhausted by just staying here without anything to do aside from watching those people in white clothes passing by my room.   • I got up from the bed and brushed my hair with my bare fingers. I yawned. I felt tired even though I didn't do anything throughout these days.
  • With my eyes half-opened, my legs were weak as I went near the waters at my right. The splatting sound of these waterfalls gave the waters underneath a more crystal clear appearance. I kneeled and looked at my reflection. At first glance, my face blurred. But in a blink of an eye, the tiny water waves suddenly moved away from my glare. It gave me a more lucid view of my look.
