Chapter 18

• After hanging up the call, Rachel went to see Rose and Mrs. Hilda, but neither of them had any news about Yves. Once she had done her due diligence, she called Donald and informed him that no one knew anything about her, offering her help in the search.
• Meanwhile, Donald went to the apartment he had given her, but she wasn't there either, although he noticed that she had kept some of her old clothes. This made him even more worried because she had left in a taxi and apparently hadn't arrived anywhere.
• As the hours passed, he felt worse and very guilty for failing her once again, just like when his mother died. He had hardly been able to sleep, and even his friend wasn't in the country, so he didn't know who to turn to for help with this.
