Chapter 13 Ghosts In The Blood
- After locking the door, I collapsed on the ground. It was burning in my chest. The pain I felt. The same pain that never left, the one that was too stubborn too, that squeezed my chest and made me remember what I didn't want to, that resurrected memories should have stayed dead and buried.
- My fingers felt like ice. My breathing was difficult and was impossible for me to cry but I wanted to and it still won't drive the pain away.
