Chapter 187 Lu Yuan’s Death

  • Felix Cohen didn’t answer Lu Yuan’s question. He just sneered. “Trash teachers raise trash students.” With that, Felix stepped forward and kicked Lu Yuan square in the chest—hard. No surprise: Lu Yuan’s body shot out like a fired shell and slammed into the wall not far away, then slid down slowly. The courtyard went dead silent. Everyone stared at Felix like he was a monster. They’d expected Lu Yuan to crush him with one punch. Instead, Felix killed Lu Yuan with a single kick. Shu Wanqing finally exhaled. He knew it now—Felix was a warrior. And a stronger one than Lu Yuan. “Shoot! Open fire!” Chu Xinyu finally snapped out of it. He never imagined Felix was a warrior—a warrior who could kill Lu Yuan in a second. That alone flipped the whole situation. But even after he barked the order, no gunshots came. He glanced at his men, and his face changed fast. Every one of them stood frozen, like someone had nailed their joints in place. Look closer, and you’d see a single acupuncture needle pinned into each of them. “Controlling needles with inner energy… He’s at Grandmaster level! And so young.” Shu Wanqing was so excited his eyes looked ready to pop. Moving needles with energy was a technique only warriors beyond the Grandmaster Realm could truly command. Felix had done it without anyone noticing, pinning this many people at once. That was pure Grandmaster skill. Beside him, Shu Wan’er’s gaze on Felix sparked with awe. Chu Xinyu knew this was Felix’s doing. He didn’t waste time. He yanked the gun from his waistband— But the moment it cleared leather, a dagger flashing cold light was already at his eyes. Swish. A silver streak cut through the air. The hand holding the gun separated clean from the arm. The one who struck was the woman in ancient dress. She stepped in to finish Chu Xinyu— Boom! A sharp blast. A white fog burst up in front of Chu Xinyu. Felix frowned. He recognized the trick—classic Poglala ninja smoke. As the white cloud billowed, a shadow dropped from the roof behind Chu Xinyu. The figure snatched him, stomped hard, vaulted back to the rooftop, and vanished in a blink. The woman in ancient dress moved to chase. Felix spoke first. “Stop. Don’t bother. You’re not a match for that turtle hiding in his shell.” He’d sensed the old man lurking in the dark for a while. He just didn’t care to deal with him. The woman paused, then let it go. “Thank you for saving our lives!” Shu Wanqing stepped up first, clasped his fists, and bowed to Felix. Shu Wan’er and the elders—who’d nearly peed themselves—snapped out of it and bowed as well, giving thanks. “No problem. But remember, I had terms,” Felix said coolly. Shu Wanqing hurried to lead Felix into the front hall. “Sir, whatever medicinal herbs you need—please, take your pick.” Felix didn’t hold back. He quickly selected a set of top-grade ingredients. There were a lot, though—too many to carry in one go. Shu Wanqing spoke up at once. “Sir, leave me your address. I’ll have them delivered to your place tonight.” Felix didn’t refuse. He left an address, then headed out with Feng Xiaoxiao and Caio Solari.
