Chapter 4 Your different from the rest of Wolves

  • *Welcome back to Destined, let me know how you like it as this is my first Werewolf Novel. Before I get into the chapter, I'm going to copy and paste the last scenario from Chapter 3 so you understand where the story is heading, I hope you enjoy it!!

  • My day just keeps on getting worst. The second class I have is Mathematics, I love the subject, but the teacher hates me. Not that I'm surprised, my mathematics teacher is Erick's mother. With my earphones in my ears, I zoned out of all the badness and hummed my favorite song nobody knows my pain', it's the only song that can calm my brain.
  • Music is the only thing that keeps me going, it's the only thing that keeps me alive on the inside. It took me only three minutes to reach Mrs. Millen's class, and as usual Mrs. Millen was seated around her table. She isn't the nicest teacher, but she's a good teacher. The classroom was already filled, and there was only one seat left. Moon Goddess why do you always let me sit beside the guy that hates my guts?
  • "Everyone that has shifted in their wolf form before, I want you all to shift into your wolf, if you haven't shifted as yet, your getting detention. I will not tolerate any weak student in my class, so if you haven't shifted get out before I put you under one of my spells," Mrs. Knight said in disgust as she looked at Amanda like she was filthy.
  • As Mrs. Knight's words processed in my head, I grabbed all my things and head out of the classroom. I'm more than happy to leave but giving me detention was not necessary. I have a bunch of chores to do in the evenings, and I want to head to bed early, but thanks to Mrs. Knight I won't be getting as much rest as I should.
  • I took one last look at the students who've now shifted and at Mrs. Knight before I turn on my heels to leave. But then my body was jerked to the side and there he was hovered over me with his black fur. His eyes had a blueish color and the way his wolf's hair stood up made me blush deeply. Unlike the other student's wolf, Erick's wolf was huge, he had more strength seeing that his father is the Alpha of one of the most powerful packs.
  • I got lost in Erick's eyes and I think he got lost in mine too, as he stayed quiet the whole time. I know that he's a jerk, but people can change, right?
  • The entire room was quiet, well, that is until Luna Knight spoke up... "Son, what are you doing, do you want to ruin your reputation for a loser like Amanda?"
  • "I'd rather die than ruin my reputation for a useless brat like Amanda. I was just teaching her a lesson, mom," Erick replied in disgust before he bit Amanda on her arm.
  • "OUCH!!! Why did you bit me, you jerk?" Amanda asked as he yelp in pain.
  • "Because you deserved it! you fool. That's for seducing my boyfriend," Ella shouted...
  • Without responding back to Ella or wait to hear what Erick had to say, I slowly got off the ground and made my way outside. By now fresh tears were streaming down my face, and the only thing I could do is let them fall on my cheeks.
  • I looked down on my arm as I bit down on my bottom lip, and there it was the freshly wound. Blood spilled out of my arm messing up my clothes and the ground... What did I ever do to deserve all of this?
  • I walked to the nearest library on the campus, but I managed to hear a few of my classmates whispered among each other...
  • "I knew she was a hoe,"
  • "She just wants someone to sorry for her, no wonder why Junior hates her guts?"
  • "She has a crush on Erick, but that bish doesn't stand a chance,"
  • I nearly jump out of my skin when I heard my name being called by a familiar voice... "Amanda, why aren't you in class?"
  • "Don't act like you care, Junior. I heard all the stuff you said about me, so don't even bother," I snared angrily at the only person I thought was my friend.
  • "I don't. Do you think I'd ruin my reputation as one of the most popular guys in school, just because of you? I'm only nice to you because I pity you," Junior smirked unaffected by what Amanda had said.
  • I just nod my head and walk straight into the library. At least one person in this school doesn't look down on me and say mean things about me. What's the big deal if I haven't shifted and everybody else? I know it sucks but it is what it is, maybe I won't shift. Again it sucks but who cares, I'm probably the weakest one in the Moon Lake pack, maybe I'm just useless as everyone says I am.
  • I was broken out of my trance when the librarian spoke up... "Rough day?"
  • I simply nodded my head, I'm not much of a talker... But then when her eyes scanned my body, she saw my swollen arm, and I didn't want her to ask me a bunch of questions so I answered her question..."Everybody hates me here, it's like nothing I do is enough," I sighed.
  • "I don't hate you. It would be cruel of me to hate someone as cute as you," Miss Edwards said as she flashed Amanda a bright smile.
  • "You don't have to be nice to me Miss Edwards. Why would you want to talk to seventeen year old who hasn't shifted as yet," Amanda questioned, not making eye contact with the Librarian.
  • "Your the only person that hasn't shifted in the entire school and your pack, I'm I right?" Miss Edwards asked before she lead Amanda to an empty desk.
  • "Yes," Amanda replied in low voice clearly embarrassed..
  • "That means your special and your wolf is of a different kind," Miss Edwards stated, allowing her words to sink into Amanda's head.
