Chapter 16 Muddled Emotions

• When my eyes opened again, the crappy feeling was gone and so was the tranquil warmth beside me, replaced with the soft warmth of the morning sun peeking through the blinds. I sat up, looking around, and my shoulders slumped.
• Was he gone?
• The thought almost made me take another round of sad naps when an ambrosial aroma wafted through my nose, and I sniffed the air, inhaling a lungful of that smell. Mhm, what was that? My body moved, hypnotized, and I found myself in the kitchen, breathing in so much of the nectar-like air that my head did a three-sixty degree spin.
