Chapter 8 He Said Something Shocking

  • Sarah looked at the man speechlessly. She watched as the employee happily wrapped up the sexy underwear made of a few pieces of pitiful cloth.
  • She was completely shocked by this man’s actions.
  • If he had bought her those cloths for others to see, then what about these undergarments?
  • Could it be …
  • She didn’t dare to think about it!
  • Although she was speechless about this man’s actions, Sarah knew that he would not listen to her opinion. So she better not embarrass herself.
  • They came out of the lingerie section and Christian brought her to buy shoes and bags.
  • He even brought her makeup and some jewelry.
  • He seemed to want to change her from inside to outside.
  • At the end, her hands were filled with various big and small bags. Even Jayson carried many things.
  • Only when he was satisfied, he took her out of the mall.
  • “Where do you live?” When they get into the car, Christian asked her coldly.
  • “What do you want to do?” Sarah asked back a little later.
  • “I’ll take you home.”
  • “Okay…” Sarah immediately said the address of her house. Jayson started the car and drove towards Sarah’s home.
  • “Go back and tell your mother today. I will go and visit her tomorrow morning.” Christian instructed Sarah like a chief.
  • “Okay…” Sarah nodded. She still could not come back to her senses about marrying him.
  • Christian looked at her expression. He knew that she had not gotten used to it yet, so he did not speak anymore.
  • The car quickly stopped in front of Sarah’s home. Christian chose a set of cloths and passed it to her. “I will come to see Auntie tomorrow at nine o’ clock in the morning.”
  • Sarah took the clothes, looked at him and nodded silently. She turned around and walked towards the residential area.
  • Christian looked at her back.
  • She looked very weak and lonely.
  • His brows slightly wrinkled.
  • “Sir, where are we going now?”
  • “Let’s go back to the villa.”
  • “Yes.”
  • The day after tomorrow was a joyous day for the Cooper family. The eldest son of the Cooper Family, Christian Cooper, was going to hold a wedding.
  • This was the day which the whole Cooper family waited for a long time.
  • Early in the morning, Old Master Cooper had ordered the servants and maids to be busy with work. When he thought about his eldest grandson finally getting married, Benjamin Cooper, who was in his 80s, was as happy as a child.
  • When Christian arrived home, it was time for lunch. The family sat down at the large dining table together. Although it was not the weekend, everyone was there except for Julian.
  • “Christian, the room on the first floor has been arranged for you. After you finish your meal, go and take a look. If you are not satisfied with anything, just tell me.” Once he sat down, Daphne looked at Christian and said with a smile.
  • “Okay.” Christian responded faintly as he picked up his chopsticks. There was no expression on his face.
  • Daphne saw his expression and did not say anything else.
  • “Christian, did you get your marriage certificate with Vivian?” Ethan Cooper looked at his son and asked.
  • “No.” Christian replied in a deep voice, his face still as stern as before.
  • Everyone in the room looked at him in confusion.
  • “You guys are going to have your wedding the day after tomorrow. Why haven’t you gotten your marriage certificate yet? Don’t delay any longer, you should hurry up and go after your meal later.” When Ethan heard his son’s words, he immediately frowned and urged.
  • “I have already received my marriage certificate.” Christian replied without any ripples on his face.
  • “What do you mean by that? Didn’t you say you didn’t get a marriage certificate just now? Why do you say that now?”
  • Ethan was confused by his son’s words. The rest of family also looked at Christian in confusion. They did not understand what he meant.
  • Christian raised his head and glanced at his family, who were looking at him in confusion. His face was still as cold as ever as he said without any emotion.
  • “I have gotten the marriage certificate, but the person in it is not Vivian.”
