Chapter 34 Alliances Of Darkness - I
- The sun had barely touched the sky when Bella slipped beyond the borders of the parklands. Her steps were silent, but every cell in her body vibrated with rage and frustration. She could still taste the bitter humiliation on her tongue—the shame of being forced to obey the alpha like that. The night before had been an unforgivable insult. The stares, the dancing, the way everyone had just ignored her… and worst of all, the way Alaric had looked at that human—with tenderness and care. It ate away at her from the inside.
- The blonde moved through the dense forest without looking back, her bare feet sinking into the damp earth that separated the sacred lands of the wolves from the territory of the rogues. With each step, her breath grew heavier. She had no clear plan—just hatred. And hatred made a damn good fuel.
- When the trees thinned into a clearing, Bella emerged from the shadows, revealing her human form. She was naked but felt neither the cold of morning nor the slightest shame. Her chin was raised high, and the fire in her eyes made it clear she feared absolutely nothing.
