- She started walking toward the couch. Maybe "swaying" toward it would be the better way to put it. She was clearly not sober. Just maybe not quite as drunk as usual. "That works," she said as she kicked her shoes off and plopped herself down on one end of the couch, with both feet stretched across it all the way to the other end, where I would soon be sitting.
- Grabbing two beers from the fridge, I joined Olivia on the couch. Handing her one of them, I turned and then had to lift her feet up as I sat down. Just as I was about to push her legs to the side, she asked, "Rub my feet?"
- I hesitated for a few seconds but then nodded, settling the rest of the way into the couch and letting both her feet rest on my thigh. After a minute, I decided it would be more comfortable if I turned toward her. Lifting her legs again with my hand, I swung one of mine up onto the couch, alongside hers. When I let go, I realized my mistake. One of her feet came down directly on my very stiff, very overstimulated staff. Glancing at her, she didn't seem to have noticed. I let out my breath and then tried to scoot back a bit, but I was already butted against the armrest.
