- Most of our nights for the rest of the weekend end up this way. We'd work on our lines for a bit, and then get a little carried away with our "acting." The worst part is, I actually think it's helping me get more comfortable acting with Lucy during rehearsal. The other actors in the play are more encouraging than ever. It's actually kind of strange; it's like they think two siblings making out isn't that big of a deal. ...Maybe it's not that big of a deal...
- At the end of the week, we end up in Ms. Duval's office again. "Well, you two have made remarkable progress, although you still need to memorize those lines, Lee." She says genially. I nod my head in acknowledgment. She continues: "I'm sure you did the homework I assigned last week, acting like a couple seems so much more natural for you two." "We followed your advice! It was a little weird at first, but not anymore." Says my little sister.
