• After Torben confirmed to Mano that I am pregnant, we look at Ivan and Malik, both of them staring at the mural of a sleeping Cub inside a blue crescent moon. Ivan is the first one to turn towards me, and his eyes glide to my stomach; when I nod my head, he starts cheering. Malik hugs me as he puts his ear against it, but it is too early for him to hear anything.
• We spend the rest of the morning in and around our cottage; I show Mano every picture I placed around the cottage, and he smiles when he recognizes a few from the tablet I gave him. I wanted to show all three of them that this is our home, and throughout the cottage, there are little other things that represent the four of us.
