Chapter 8: The Proposal

• Astrid's POV
• That lunch period was over too fast. Maybe the time flew in thinking about him and what he wanted to tell me. I entered the class again. Noah was angry as usual. I can't take his without-a-reason anger.
• "Why are you so angry??" I asked him.
• "What does it have to do with you?" he said.
• "Mister, you're showing me anger from so much time. It's really annoying. That's why I'm asking" I said. Although it was quite true, but the real reason was that I can't see him angry. He's cute too.
• "Are you friends with Lucas?" he asked looking straight in my eyes.
• "Well...yes..." I spoke the truth. What's there to hide anyways.
• "Stay away from him" he said and got up and left the class again.
• What's his problem. If there's a fight or something like that between them then why don't they solve it?
• He's my friend. Not like my boyfriend! He's being unreasonable.
• Although he returned to the class, he didn't speak a word, nor did I. The college dispersed and I went back with Ava.
• I'm at home. I'll again have to ask my mom to let me go to meet a friend.
• Its not like she hates sending me out, but ya she doesn't likes it either.
• I took the permission and reached there before time. He arrived at right 4.
• "Hi Astrid. You're early!" he said sitting on the seat next to me.
• "Yeah..." I said.
• "What is it that you want to tell me?" I asked out of curiosity.
• "There's something I've been wanting to say for a while now. From the day I've seen you, I've lost my mind. So beautiful, so delicate. I don't know if this is right or not, but I want to let you

• I didn't know what to say or do.
• He.. Really?? I don't know what should I do. I never expected this. Noah told me to stay away from him. But I.. I also think I like him.

• He kept both his hands on my hand. He held my hand again and then looked in my eyes.

• I didn't know again what to do. It's just becoming so dramatic. He.. Boyfriend.. Is it really me? I never had a bf. Now I'm here with someone I met just a day ago. But I like him indeed. So... For now, I'll accept him.

• He took me in his embrace. I was losing my mind. I don't know why, but it was uncomfortable.
• Maybe.. Maybe because I've never been this close to a guy before. Maybe because I'm just not ready. Maybe because it's like this only. But I didn't go back, because it may make everything awkward. Now I'm his girlfriend. Hugging is not so out of league anyways.
• He left me and then held me by my waist.
• Now.. Should I keep my hands around his neck? But.. That's uncomfortable.

• We enjoyed a little and then I had to go home because my mom called me. He also took my mobile number.

• Then he left me home and then went back. I was quite happy. In fact, I WAS VERY HAPPY!!
• But somewhere, there was something suspicious. Why did Noah told me to stay away from him?? He's not bad! I didn't think much. Then I received a message.

• Then I laid down. I was excited and happy about tomorrow. Tomorrow, it will be a new day for me, with him.
