• As soon as I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was Sara's beautiful face. I wanted to ask her why she betrayed me. When I attempted to move, I realized I had been in an accident. I glanced around, noticing the stark white walls of the hospital.
• Why does my head feel so heavy? When I reached out to touch my skull, I found my head encased in badges. The accident resulted in a broken left hand. I can't see who's standing behind her outside the intensive care unit because I'm having trouble opening my eyes fully. I only saw her at first, but when I tried to focus on the other person, I noticed her ex-boyfriend was standing with her. She placed her head on his shoulder, and he patted her back to console her. My mind replayed the scene at the restaurant.
