Chapter 8 THE CAUSE OF LOOSING CONTROL

  • Demetrius felt a tap on his hand, but he couldn't make out this person. Catherine felt the moment he went cold she felt the moment he stopped thrusting into her.
  • She took it as her cue to continue. " I don't know what you are feeling right now. But master I can promise you it is all but a memory. And our memories can't hurt us."
  • Demetrius said nothing, he did nothing he just stood still like someone frozen in time.
  • Catherine went on " you are better than this. You have always been better. It is time to let the memories be just memories. It is time to let go, let go of the pain because it is holding you back. And if you let it, it will destroy everything you have ever built."
  • Demetrius moved his muscles Catherine felt relief. She was glad that she is slowly reaching out to him.
  • " Master.. you are one of a kind. You survived whatever happened to you. It is a story you will tell one day. It is a history that will be told soon. But, if you give in to the memories then, they will eat your soul and everything you have ever worked for will be in ruins."
  • And immediately Demetrius snapped out of the dark place he was. He took a step back drawing out of her pússy giving Catherine the space she needed to stand.
  • Demetrius looked around and he saw the damage that he had done. Catherine couldn't stand properly, she lost her balance. And in one swift movement Demetrius caught her mid air.
  • She was slowing losing her consciousness at the corner of her eyes she saw the man behind the monster some couple of minutes ago.
  • " You are back.." was the only thing she mutter before she lost consciousness.
  • ••••
  • " The proposal is a very good one." Mrs Julia said as she was trying to convince her board of directors.
  • She needs them to accept despite the fact that agreeing with her would make them tens and thousands of dollars. She needed to have Demetrius at the tip of her fingers.
  • " Yes! Julia, you are right. It is a good deal and I believe we should take it." Another member of the board said.
  • Others nodded their heads in agreement. Julia smiled deep down, she knew she has gotten what she wanted.
  • " Good! Now let's get in touch with his assistant."
  • ••••
  • Alessia opened her eyes to her phone which was buzzing on the bed some few inches away from her.
  • Turning sluggishly she took a look at the caller and heavied a sigh. Clicking on the answer button she placed the phone on her ear.
  • " Seems I woke someone up." The voice came from the phone.
  • " Come on Delia."
  • Delia, Alessia best friend and gossip mate. They have been friends since forever.
  • " Come open the door Alessia." A sound of laughter.
  • " What!"
  • " Yes, I am outside your door. Hurry! People may think I am some kind of a kidnapper or something." Delia said
  • " You are really something you know." Getting up from the bed she walked towards the door.
  • •••••••
  • " So! You didn't think to tell me about your new job uh.." Delia twitch her lips to one side of her face.
  • " I am so sorry.." Alessia's face flushed with guilt. Bending her face downwards staring at nothing in particular.
  • " I had to find out from your mom. You know how she gets right!" Taking a sip from her drink.
  • " I am sorry Delia." Alessia apologized for the upteempth time.
  • ••••••
  • " What?" The shock mirrored on her face.
  • " Wait! You are telling me, you work with the most handsome man only but a few person's has seen?" Delia aksed
  • " Yes.. Delia you can now stop emphasizing on the word ' handsome." She threw her hands in the air.
  • " Come on girl. Why won't I? Most people call him many names you know."
  • " I know." Standing up from her position she stood giving Delia her back.
  • " But I believe there is more to the story than the media and everyone is letting on."
  • Delia was silent. She has never seen her friend so concerned about anything or anyone like the way she's concerned about her new boss.
  • Getting up from her position she walked slowly. Tapped her friend on the shoulders and said.
  • " There is something you're not telling me Alessia. What is it?"
  • " What do you mean?"
  • " Don't lie to me Alessia I know you more than you know yourself. So, speak. Now!"
  • ••••
  • Demetrius sat beside the bed as he watched the doctor run her hands through the skin of Catherine.
  • She had fainted and he had been scared, he has never felt so scared in a very long time. The doctor kept looking at him like he's some sort of a horrible painting of Van Gogh. She must think the very horrible thing about him. But that is the least of his concerns.
  • " Tell me doctor. What's wrong with her?" He finally brought himself to ask.
  • The doctor said nothing rather she ran her fingers across her hair.
  • " Well, Mr Demetrius I can tell you that she is one lucky woman. She is be fine I can assure you that. But I must ask, what happened to her?" The doctor asked
  • Demetrius wasn't going to start talking about his addiction or how Catherine is lying here because he had lost control. So he said nothing. The silence stretched for too long before he finally spoke.
  • " What happened to her should not need concern you. Just tell me the diagnosis."
  • The doctor heavied a sigh of defeat. She has given all hope of getting to know exactly what happened to this poor woman lying down here.
  • " Like I said she's be fine. But, she needs a couple of days of rest. Her body needs to heal. As you can see." Pointing at the serval scars on her body.
  • " Some of the scars are deep and they need to heal before she can be able to do whatever you have her doing."
  • Demetrius released the breath he doesn't know he's been holding.
  • " When will she regain consciousness?" He asked in a worried tone
  • " A couple of hours." The doctor replied
  • " Thank you doctor."
  • He saw the doctor off to the end of the mansion he ordered Dante to pay the lady and make sure she never speaks of what she saw here today.
  • He walked inside with the thought of how he could have lost control like that. He has never lost control in a very long time. And now Catherine is paying for it. Waving his head he walked straight to her chambers.
  • He sat beside her and wondered how she was able to reach out to him. He thought this was the consequence of him losing control.
