• "You can leave now. Your check will arrive as usual," he said seriously as he headed to his private bathroom to freshen up and probably change his wrinkled suit.
• Ruby was not foolish; she had known him for a couple of years. The fact that he left her wanting more did not bother her at all. She was not going to demand that he fulfill his part, not when he was the one paying for her "services." So, she quietly dressed, tied up her hair, and left silently.
• The meeting that David scheduled with Victoria's father did not start off well at all. Hank arrived at the office promptly at 8 in the morning. He waited an hour and a half for Mr. Rothschild to arrive. Matt decided to ignore Hank's furious look and headed into his office followed by Miller and David. He gave instructions to each of them and took his time to let the furious Hank in.
