• The traffic in New Pearls was as bad as she remembered, but Amelia didn't mind that at all. Her daughter's eyes were filled with a curious gleam, watching the city streets with enthusiasm as she held Tika in her arms.
• She was actually planning to leave Tika behind out of concern. But Amelia insisted that she be allowed to take Tika with her, which she finally did. In terms of age and weight, there really wouldn't be a problem with taking Tika along for the plane ride to New Pearls.
• As soon as she read her text message a few days ago, Laura became overly enthusiastic. Ruth, who was initially reluctant about the idea, suddenly became as enthusiastic as Laura. The two friends helped her get everything ready. Ruth even offered her a private jet, which she reluctantly accepted after Ruth kept pushing her.
