- Samantha tries to wiggle out of my arms and I tell her that she has to relax, because I’m not letting her go. After that she relaxes a little and I hold on just a little bit tighter.
- When we get to the house I walk upstairs to my room and put her down on my bed. “Get some rest, Beautiful.” I say and turn to walk out of the room. As I reach for the doorknob she asks me why I’m so kind to her.
