Diego's Point Of View
We drove for almost an hour in silence, to the Black rose quarters, my home. I opened the gates to the compound, the entire place felt desolate and quiet. Ever since the massacre done by my aunt no one has been here and its gates have been closed to outsiders.
“What happened here?” I heard Allyssa mutter as she stared around the compound. The place gave a kind of chill and if you listen closely you could hear the screams of those that were killed by Delilah. All the witches slaughtered in this place were not at peace, how could they be?
