• I was finally at my parents' annual gathering. This thing is mandatory for me, but I could easily skip it if I wanted to. Though I was not feeling it, I need to forget about Brandon. And David had been unavailable for me.
• "Claire honey, glad you can make it. You're beautiful baby..." mom hugged me, as she kissed my cheek.
