• For a long time, all Aspen did was float in a space that was strange to her. Darkness became her friend for many, many hours, and within all that, she lost all hope of ever seeing the light of a good day. She gave up on finding a way out of the dark orbit, she decided to accept that she would never feel the comfort of her body or meet the people that mattered to her.
• But, no matter how much she gave up hope, her floating soul refused to cease existing. And this baffled Aspen a lot because she saw no end to the hell the Lycan Queen’s wicked tactics had pushed her to.
