Chapter 40

• In this room, I'd made my initial discovery of Mom's sexual interactions with our biggest enemy and things had turned out pretty terribly after that. I could stomach the disgust for a couple of minutes and, hopefully, it would be worth it.
• Looking around, I figured this room wasn't as big as the rooms in the rest of the house and it barely had anything much to look into. Mom had probably gone through everything and removed or hidden whatever she didn't want us to get our hands on.
• There was no harm in trying though.
