• Ava quickly raised her hand to slap Hunter once he admitted he knew who she was before ever getting to the island. Grabbing her wrist, before her hand contacted his face, he pulled her into his arms to prevent the blows. Growling like a feral animal, his anger was ragged in ways he had never felt before. Never would he allow a submissive to strike him. He didn’t believe in hitting or abuse of any kind. Kink was one thing, but striking in anger, he didn’t allow. He had learned to control his anger, and that’s what made him such a good Master. He knew his limits.
• “Stop! That’s enough. I told you never to slap me. It’s about time I show you that I mean business.”
