• Alaric was dressed in a black suit and leather shoes, sitting comfortably in the backseat. He wasn't doing anything in particular, but his presence was so commanding that anyone who encountered him would be struck by his appeal. He looked extremely formal, with not a wrinkle in sight on his clothes. Emerald thought he might have just come from work, but he appeared as fresh as if he had just stepped out of the house.
