Chapter 44 The Altar

• As Rosette moved toward the center of the circle, she saw Kyle standing beside the altar, his naked form bathed in the moonlight. He addressed the pack, his voice booming, "Pack Luther, tonight I change my mate Rosette. She will be one of you. Do you accept this pack member?"
• Rosette had just reached the edge of the circle when the pack responded in unison, "Show us her strength."
• "So now we fight," Rosette thought, her heart pounding in her chest. Kyle nodded subtly, stepping off the platform and moving slightly towards her.
