• Rows of metal tables filled the room instead, some pushed against the walls and others arranged through the centre with enough space between them for several people to work around each one. Restraints were fixed around the upper and lower ends and narrow drainage channels ran beneath them towards grates in the floor.
• Reinforced cabinets covered most of the walls and several pieces of equipment sat abandoned beside the tables.
• Nobody needed an explanation for what the room had been used for.
