Chapter 20 Possible Delay

• Lily thought Robert wouldn't stop by anymore, but she was wrong. He came that very afternoon, and he brought fruits with him, too. When he arrived, Lily was playing Monopoly with Samson.
• Robert stopped at the doorstep. The door was ajar, and he could hear what they were talking about. From the sound of it, Lily was fine now; she could even laugh. “I don't need a caretaker. I've been in the doctor's office because of this condition more times than I care to remember. It'll take me a couple of days, but I'll be fine.”
• Samson had a strip of paper on his face, and it dangled around when he talked. “That's because you don't take care of your stomach. The doctor told me so. Can you take this seriously?”
