Chapter 2
- DANTE'S POV.
- As soon we arrived the airport, I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialed Vito's number.
- One ring, and he picked up.
- "Don."
- "Tell them not to touch a hair on that bastard's body. I returned to Italy on short notice because of him. I will finish him up myself."
- "Yes, Don." He replied, and I ended the call.
- My men and I walked to the cars that had pulled up before us, and I hopped right in.
- "Welcome back, Don." Julio, the chaffeur greeted, giving a curt nod in my direction.
- "Thank you, Julio."
- "Where to?"
- "The Mansion. I need a change of clothes."
- "Yes sir." He replied, before driving off.
- As soon as we got to the mansion, I alighted the car and made my way in. I may have ignored the red car that was parked in the lot, knowing whom it most certainly belonged to.
- That Collombo lady was here again. Emily, or whatever her name was.
- I had already gone halfway towards my room, when I halted my steps. I needed to see my sister first.
- As I approached her bedroom, I called out to her.
- "Alexa? Alexa, I'm back!"
- Receiving no response, a small frown made its way to my face. Getting to her room, I knocked once, then pushed the door open.
- And then, I froze....
- At first, I only saw the mess of sheets, her hair spilling over the pillow. Then the sound hit me. It was soft, muffled, almost desperate.
- My gaze followed the sound.
- Her knees were bent, her thighs trembling, and her hand….
- Dio santo.
- That damned Collombo woman.
- Her fingers were buried deep inside herself, moving with a rhythm that stole the air from my lungs.
- I have had my fair share of women, and I have supposedly seen it all. So why was I so thrown off, at the mere sight of this damned woman, sliding her fingers in and out of herself?!
- I exhaled some hot breath, as my eyes dilated at the sight before me.
- Fucking hell.....
- I had to leave.
- I made to leave quietly, but my legs failed me.
- I wasn't sure why, but maybe it was the painful, but subtle way she bit her lower lips to prevent herself from screaming out loudly.
- Or maybe it was because of how much color had gathered on her face and ears. Or maybe it's was how firmly she shut her eyes.
- Or maybe, it was amount of wetness that pooled down there as she pleasured herself.
- My cock twitched in my pants, and I felt overcome with embarrassment.
- She suddenly opened her eyes, holding my shocked gaze as she did.
- Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!
- She seemed immobile for a moment, too shocked to even make a single move.
- Deciding the situation was getting too intense, I finally willed my legs to move.
- I sincerely couldn't remember when last my heart beat so loudly, or my legs moved so quickly.
- That Collombo witch!
- What could be going through her mind right now?
- I hope she didn't think I had been watching her the entire time? I would never degrade myself to such level!
- I had simply walked into the situation. It was nothing I would have knowingly subjected myself to.
- As soon as I got to the room, I peeled my clothes off my body, and walked into the bathroom for a cold and calming shower.
- Once I was done, I brushed my teeth and threw on some fresh sets of clothes.
- It was time to go see the man who made me mess up my schedule and return to Italy.
- Carlo Rossi.
- One thing I never tolerated from my men or even anyone else, was disrespect. And one thing that I shouldn't even hear of, is disloyalty.
- Every underworld crime family thrived on ruggedity and loyalty. Loyalty, most importantly.
- Carlo had betrayed the trust I had in him. Thinking his actions weren't going to come biting him in the ass, was so stupid of him.
- I left the mansion, and Julio drove me to our destination. The Ferrari farm.
- My late parents used to own the biggest tobacco farm in Italy. After they both died, I took over as Don, and now we are three times bigger.
- I walked through the very busy field of workers, heading towards the underground guard rooms at the far end of the field.
- "Don."
- I looked ahead to see Vito walking towards me.
- "What's the situation of things?"
- "The Marcolinis called a few minutes ago. They are demanding the release of Carlo." Hearing that, I stopped in my tracks.
- "Demanding?" A humourless chuckle tumbled out of my mouth. Walking closer to him, I pulled the gun out of his holster and headed for the guard room.
- The Marcolinis should have known that no one made demands of me. NO ONE.

- It was already night by the time I got back home, and the moment I saw that red car still parked in the lot, my anger surfaced.
- The nerve of that woman!
- As I made my way into the mansion, I could hear the feminine laughter from the dinning area. She was even laughing like all was well.
- Calmly, I headed for the dinning room and got there to see Alexandra and that deceitful woman eating together.
- "Brother!" Alexa yelled in delight as soon as she saw me. She stood from her seat and attacked me with a hug.
- I gently patted her on the back, before pulling away.
- "Aren't you happy to see me?" She pouted, but a different person had my attention.
- She stared down at her hands, unable to hold my gaze. Instantly, I remembered the incident from this morning, and my heart rebelliously did a quick flip.
- "What the hell is she still doing here?" I queried, regaining control over my damned mind.
- "Who?" Alexa innocently asked, looking around the dinning room. "Because I don't want to believe you're speaking of my friend." She chuckled humourlessly.
- "You." I called firmly, my eyes on the Collombo lady. She slowly looked up at me, so much uncertainty in her eyes. "This should be the last time I ever see you in my home. Get out."
- "Dante!!" Alexa yelled at me in a mix of disbelief and anger. "Don't speak to her that way."
- "I will speak to Miss Collombo whichever way I see fit!"
- "No! She's my friend. You're embarrassing me."
- "I guess you'd be even more embarrassed, when Miss Collombo finally tells you she has been engaged to marry Marco Russo."
- The entire room fell silent, and I looked at the Collombo lady, who already had so much tears in her eyes. It made me angrier to see that Alexa was close to tears too.
- "Is.... is that....." Alexa released a low sigh. "Emily, is that true?"
- Miss Collombo's lips quivered, finding it difficult to make out a word. Instead, tears rolled down her cheeks. An evidence that it was indeed all true.
- "Please Alexa. I can ex..explain...." She stuttered, more tears falling.
- "There will be no need for that. You're no longer welcome here, Collombo. Leave." I spat, before walking away.
