• Bianca’s screams alerted Barry, and he was in the room in a matter of minutes. Beth and Anna dashed in, still half asleep. The two pretty, blonde women stood in the doorway in their pyjamas, wondering why Sylvie, who had always been so kind and loving, was now preventing them from entering the room.
• “We need to see Bee…” Beth was quaking and crying in despair, but Syl stood guard, a puzzled-looking Cian on her hip, watching the scene like an interested spectator.
