Chapter 62 They Will Pay

• Vincenzo and I already discussed it—not really a conversation, but I made him aware that I would be going over to Julie's, which is practically Venom's house. It was time I carried out my part of the job: getting all kinds of information from Juliet.
• That morning, I woke up as early as 7 a.m. I treated myself to a nice warm bubble bath. I played with the bubbles a bit before thoroughly scrubbing every part of my body. For some reason, I wanted to glow even brighter today. Vincenzo was about to leave the room the moment I went in for my bath, so I doubted he would still be in the bedroom. So, I rinsed the soap off my hair and body, walked out of the bathtub, dried my body, and walked to my dressing table, bare.
• The manual dryer worked on my hair as I spent a few minutes trying to perfectly dry it. Next, I went for my lotion—Vincenzo's, for some reason I couldn’t resist the fragrance of it. I applied it all over my body, then used the facial cream and every other skin cream I had.
