- While we waited, I had a quick look around the lodge. It was on one floor, with eight bedrooms spreading out from the central living-room / kitchen like points on a star. Each bedroom I peaked my head into seemed to have a double bed, and an on-suite bedroom with a shower. There didn't seem to be any differences between the rooms.
- I could see outside there was a decking area with a table, as well as a small nearby wooden building with a sign on the door saying 'sauna'.
- The living room / kitchen combo was exactly as you might imagine for a large group. It had three sofas as well as two large fridge-freezers. In one corner of the room was a pool table. Not full sized, but big enough to give a fun game. However, at the moment, my sister, the twins and Samuel were all just chatting in the kitchen area while enjoying some fruit-juice from the fridge.
