- At dinner that evening, all conversation was about tomorrow: St. Maarten. Jake reminded them to make sure to bring all their documents with them. St, Maarten was a short day. They docked at 8:00 a.m., but you couldn't get off until 9:00. The boat left at 3:00. Only six short hours. So they decided to get an early breakfast, and get to the gangway early so they could leave the ship right at 9:00. Their contact, a guy named Le Clerc, was to meet them at 10:00, on the left side of the St. Maarten sign. He sent Jake a picture of the sign and told him he would not be able to miss it. Everything was set.
