• Alex lay in the fading darkness of the young day and contentedly ran his eyes up and down the silhouette of Lorelei as she lay on her side facing away from him. He took his time admiring the way the tangle of her long hair gave way to the rounded peak of her shoulders, dropped slowly down the gradual slope of her flank, dipped into the low valley of her waist and rose up again to the smooth swell of her hips. As he reached up to brush the sheets from her thighs and see more of her delectable outline, his touch caused her to hum happily in her sleep.
