And Erin demonstrated a savage competence for tracking how busy our neighbors were, based on their crops and the animals they raised. It was a simple matter of a judgemental nudge to get them to help out their elderly neighbors, and I smoothed things over by arranging a block party of sorts at Bethany's place every month or so. We held it at Bethany's so that we could hammer home the point of helping out our older neighbors.
