Chapter 13 Reminiscence

• From a deep slumber, Adele woke up. She didn’t find Decker in the room. With heavy eyes, she walked to look outside. Decker was standing at his favorite place near the water's edge.
• A smile sprinkled on Adele’s face; after a raging storm, it was a peaceful moment of relief. A tempest cleared between her thoughts and reality. She prepared herself and followed the narrow way towards him.
• The evening filled with peach-lavender light mirrored in the still water, where Decker was immersed in his thoughts.
