• “ Yes I know” She said. “ what happened?” He asked her. “ I’ll tell you but promise you’ll never yell at Mummy again” She said and he promised. “ Mummy Bake cakes for him when his wife did her birthday” Mara said and he raised a brow. His Uncle didn’t have a wife, his wife died years ago.
• “ His wife?” He asked and Mara nodded her head. “ Yes that was what he said but she was so Young. He didn’t pay my Mummy all the money and he threatened her back then” Mara said. Alfred’s jaw dropped, he didn’t know all that happened between Vanessa and his Uncle. Alfred sighed, he looked at Mara and smiled. “ Don’t Worry, I’ll take care of everything” He said and Mara nodded her head. “ No smile for Daddy” She smiled and hugged him.
• 8:30pm After Mara has fallen asleep, Alfred went to Vanessa’s room. He found her on the bed crying, She was Shocked to have seen him inside her room and she quickly cleaned her face.
